ROR2 Companion is a fan-made companion app for Risk of Rain 2. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect.

None. ROR2 Companion does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

No accounts or sign-in required
No analytics or tracking
No crash reporting
No advertising
No data is sent to any server

Local Storage

The app stores your preferences (theme, image quality, favorites) locally on your device using standard platform storage. This data never leaves your device.

Network Usage

The app includes an optional Live Build feature that connects to a local Risk of Rain 2 mod (ROR2Sync) running on the same Wi-Fi network. This connection:

Is entirely local — no data is sent to the internet
Only activates when you manually tap "Connect"
Communicates only with the game mod on your local network
Can be disconnected at any time

No other network connections are made. All game data (items, survivors, artifacts) is bundled within the app.

Children's Privacy

The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
